About the event
As part of our Bridging the Gap in our Community and fostering connections to the African Culinary Heritage, we are partaking in a program called Dining With Dignity. The goal is to cook and serve African food to the residents of the Siena Francis House. Volunteers will help prep, cook, and serve folks the food for lunch and dinner. The time slots available are 9 am to 2 pm and 2 to 7 pm. Minimal to average food prep, and cooking skills will be sufficient for this opportunity. Volunteers with no kitchen experience can still help serve the food. Different hours are also available. This will be a once-a-month volunteer opportunity with options for lunch and dinner services. Join a great cause and learn how to cook African food along the way. Siign Up as a volunteer today
